Inspired by the North

Built to endure the harshest conditions.

A two-component, fire-resistant waterproof insulation paint that seals concrete, metal, wood and stone against water, heat and chemicals — with the quiet resilience of the North.

The Philosophy

Engineered with Nordic discipline.

In the North, materials are judged by one thing: how they hold up when conditions turn. NORDKA carries that same standard into every surface it protects — sealing out water, resisting fire and shrugging off chemicals, year after year.

A single primer-free coat replaces complex multi-layer systems, so protection is faster to apply and far more economical to maintain.

Quiet strength. Lasting protection.
Performance

One coat. Complete protection.

An advanced formulation that insulates against water, heat, fire and chemicals in a single layer — without primer or specialist equipment.

100% Waterproof

Forms a continuous film on any surface, fills hairline cracks and fully blocks water ingress.

Non-Flammable

Fire class B-s1-d0. Shields the back surface even above 500°C — trusted in critical areas.

Thermal Insulation

Excellent heat insulation that lowers energy loss and withstands temperature swings.

Ultra-Flexible

Stretches without cracking on moving surfaces — a definitive answer to structural cracks.

Chemical Resistance

Withstands saltwater, oil, acid and 37% hydrochloric acid — built for industry and shipyards.

Solvent-Free

An eco-friendly, healthy application with a biodegradable, solvent-free formula.

Primer-Free

No primer required for surface preparation, saving both time and labour cost.

Universal Adhesion

Bonds firmly to concrete, wood, ceramic and glass — even rusty metal without sandblasting.

UV-Stable

Resists ultraviolet degradation, protecting against fading for 10–15 years.

Application

Ready to apply in three steps.

A specially formulated two-component product. Component A is combined with Component B at a 3:1 ratio in its own container.

Step 01

Mixing Preparation

Carefully combine Components A and B at a 3:1 ratio inside the original tin.

Step 02

Mixing

Mix with a machine for 2–3 minutes until the components are fully integrated.

Step 03

Homogeneous Consistency

Once the texture is uniform throughout, the product is ready to apply.

Ease of Use

No surface prep. Just apply.

Unlike conventional coatings that demand cleaning, sandblasting and a separate primer, NORDKA bonds directly to the existing surface — even rust, old paint and damp steel. The footage on the left is a real shipyard hull, coated in a single pass with no preparation.

NORDKA vs Polyurea

A simpler path to the same result.

Polyurea coatings demand heavy machinery, a trained crew and a primer. NORDKA is applied by hand, on site.

NORDKA
Polyurea Coating
Ease of Application
Roller, brush or spray — primer-free on any surface.
Requires van-sized machinery and a trained team.
Water Insulation
Continuous film on every surface; fills cracks, prevents mould.
Application errors can cause serious failures.
Durability & Life
UV, chemical and abrasion resistant; 10–15 years.
No UV resistance; cracks over time, not chemical resistant.
Cost
No labour or primer cost; up to 50% lower per m².
High per-m² cost from machinery, crew and primer.
Repair
Flexible; patched and repaired locally.
New layer won't bond; the whole surface is often renewed.
Where it's used

From the coastline to the rooftop.

Strong adhesion even on the toughest surfaces — a single solution from residential to heavy industry.

Marine · Shipyards

Shipyards & Dry Docks

Adheres to rusty steel without sandblasting; resists saltwater, oil and harsh chemicals.

Industry

Industrial Floors

Impact resistance against forklifts and heavy loads, with an easy-to-clean surface.

Building Envelope

Roofs & Terraces

UV-stable, elastic and 100% liquid-tight — ideal for surfaces that move and flex.

Residential

Facades & Wet Areas

Primer-free and solvent-free — a healthy solution homeowners can apply themselves.

One coating, countless applications.

From high-rise envelopes to below-grade structures and seawater-exposed concrete — NORDKA protects across the built environment.

References

Trusted in the toughest yards.

Leading Turkish shipyards have applied NORDKA on critical dry-dock assets — and confirmed its conformity to international technical standards in writing.

The exterior coating and ballast tanks of the FATIH-53 dry dock were successfully completed by Nordka. We strongly confirm the high compatibility and conformity of the work to international technical standards.
